My experience with distance learning in K-12 education was interesting. I feel like its a good way to implement technology into classrooms, teaching kids technology and other subjects at the same time. I have experienced the VR headset, 3D printing Pen, Touch Screen, and different games on the touch screen. I have not experienced the robots that they had. I feel like robotics is interesting field and I would like to learn more about it in the future. As well as explore VR more and try out the different games and programs that they have, especially the language learning ones.
Open Educational Resources (OER) are free learning materials that anyone can use for school or teaching. They can be things like textbooks, videos, or lesson plans that you can change or share. OER make learning easier and cheaper because everyone can access quality resources without paying for them. The article provides an assignment for students where it provides a text format explaining who the different people that fought for the confederacy were. It also explains their motivations and provides a brief context for the students. The assignment asks the students to analyze a letter from a Confederate soldier, look at a political cartoon, and read a text, all about the Civil War in the USA.

Working on the Assignment 4 I learned a lot about how to best use PowerPoint and especially about a lot of its functions that I didn't know existed. I liked the options of PowerPoint and different functions that exist there. It was fun playing around with it and seeing how they work and can be implemented in the PowerPoint. I like the feature of record in the PowerPoint and script that makes it easier to do everything you need to in one app without needing other websites. The thing I didn't like about PowerPoint is how clanky and old it looks, some of its features are excessive and would be rarely used. They could update their functions and modules to make it more simpler and cleaner at the same time. Overall it was a fine experience and I like a lot of functions that they do have.
