Blog Post #10:

Overtime my PLN has advanced to include more people and tools. I learned more tool that could help me with my progression, and learned how to better use them for my future, such as adobe tools, Microsoft tools and programs such as Weebly. I also deepened my relationship and connections with colleagues in the university.  I become more friendly with them and so could spend more quality time with them. I also learned more and connected more with my professors so that we can work together to work on research or just to advance my knowledge in a particular subject.  I a lot of my spaces and tools still stayed the same but I started using the library and college spaces more often.

As a historian, I think data collection tools like surveys or digital questionnaires would be useful for gathering information directly from people who experienced certain events or grew up in specific communities. Instead of just relying on books or archives, I could use tools like Qualtrics to collect personal stories, opinions, or memories that help me understand how people lived through certain historical changes. For example, if I were studying the impact of the Cold War on different generations, I could create a survey to see how people remember that time or how it affected their families. These kinds of tools make it easier to organize responses and look for patterns, which can help build a stronger and more human view of the past.

I would like to learn how to work with sound systems, setting them up, working with the mixer and knowing how and when to change the sound. It's an interesting field for me that I would like to learn more about. By being specific and measuring the achievability of my goal I feel like I will feel more accomplished in my learning.  My goal would be to go to lessons and learn how the mixer works and all the different buttons do by the end of the semester December 12.
